Happy Father's Day

I've always thought that writing greeting cards would be a fun job to have. So, in honour of my dad, I'm taking up card writing, just for today.

Dad, you're the best,
I'm glad that you're mine,
Now let's just relax,
And enjoy a big glass of wine.

If dads were like ice cream cones,
I'd need a triple scoop to describe mine.
One scoop of vanilla because it’s just old fashioned goodness.
One scoop of rocky road because it’s a complex mix of flavours.
One scoop of bubblegum because it’s fun and reminds me of being a kid.
And a cherry on top (because they're his favourite).

Dad, you're udderly amooooozing!
(you need a goofy picture of a cow to make this one really work)

When I was little I thought you could touch the sky
You taught me to always give things a try.
As I grew older we continued to have fun
BBQs, cottages, soccer in the sun.
My teen years were interesting, but we made it through
Thanks for supporting me while I figured out what to do.
Now that I'm an adult I think we can agree
You were a huge part of helping me become me.

Maybe I should stick with my day job. Oh well, Happy Father's Day, dad - I love you!
