I survived my first field trip

Yesterday I volunteered to help with Ella's class on a field trip to the Science Centre. I was responsible for 5 little grade ones (2 of whom were runners), amidst more than 600 interactive exhibits in 10 exhibit halls over 6 different floors, for 5 hours, amongst 8 million other field tripping students. I have absolutely no recollection of any science, but I'm proud to say that I did not lose anyone. And I will be choosing what I volunteer for much more carefully in the future.

  1. Good for you! I have always loved field trips for the opportunity to observe the interactions among the kids. The Science Centre must be a zoo at this time of year. They should make all the kids wear their school colour so they're easier to spot!
