A Friday funny

April is birthday month in our family (3 out of 4), so there's a constant stream of cards, presents and cake flowing through our doors. To wrap up the week on a high note I thought I'd share a card I got from my cousin that made me laugh out loud - I hope it makes you smile, too.

Summer is coming!

Have you seen the ad for Weber BBQs? It's awesome!

I caught it a few times while watching the premiere of Top Chef Canada Monday night (not sure I'm liking Lisa Ray as the new host - she's trying too hard to be Padma) and it made me smile every time it came on. It's nothing fancy - just a montage of people dancing while BBQing, all set to a great song. The combination of upbeat music, silly scenes and the implied smell of steak on the grill made me immediately think of summer and all the good things that go with it.

I'm not flogging Weber (we own a Broil King) but I am a fan of passing along things that make me smile. So, enjoy!

PS. It turns out the ad isn't new, it's from last year. Guess I missed it the first time around while I was eyeball deep dealing with a newborn!
